When Cassidy’s front man approached me to design the packaging for his emo band’s upcoming release, I jumped at the opportunity. Using the CD’s title as inspiration (the city), I used some photography I had recently shot while traveling in Barcelona. Blending the black and white photos with a neon pink gave the packaging the energy I was looking for, and resulted in the eye-catching design you see above. The art on the CD aligns with the interior of the case design, adding a subtle layer of complexity to the finished product.
