With their intricate guitar riffs, numerous tempo transitions, and awesome vocals, Silverstein is quickly becoming one of the best screamo bands around. They’re certainly one of my favorites, and, luckily for me, they’re playing at the Showbox on October 30th. Rachel and I will be there with bells on… then we’ll trade the bells in for a couple of snazzy new T’s.

Ok, so it’s been a while since my last post, but I have some good excuses, really! I just started a new job at Onlineshoes.com, and I’ve been busy with a lot of fun freelance projects (including the re-design of Vagablond.com). Oh, and we’ve been trying to squeeze some great hikes in before the end of the season. Our most recent ascent was up Mount Dickerman, located in the northern Cascades, and let me tell you, this one was a beauty (not to mention pretty challenging: A 8.6 mile round trip, with a 3800 foot elevation gain). We went with some of our friends from Canada, and I think we left them with a great impression of what the Seattle area has to offer.
